Dear Senior

Thank you so much for choosing me as your Senior Photographer. It is a title that I do not take lightly or for granted. We are going to have fun during your session and I want for you to feel comfortable so we can really capture your personality.

    • Guidelines: On the day of your shoot, we will go to a location of your choice and walk around finding different backdrops of interest. I have a few favorite spots but I want to know what speaks to you. I will give you direction on where to stand, where to look, etc. You can bring a couple of outfits for a variety. Something dressy and something casual. Keep in mind that accessories and layers look great. They will add texture and interest. Bold colors like red, blue, yellow and purple are also great because they pop. If we are in a field and you are wearing neutral colors, you won’t stand out.

    • Weather: I always hope for sunshine but if it’s cloudy or even rainy, we can find shelter or we may choose to reschedule. We can also do something indoors like a museum or library or the Jewel Box.

    • Props: If you have a car, we can use it. If you have an instrument, uniform or medals, just let me know and we can incorporate it into the shoot. Remember, this is all about you. Having an idea of what you want plus letting me have some free creative reign will produce the best results.

    • Hair & Makeup: I do not have a stylist but I find that most of us prefer to do our own makeup. You might want to get a blowout the day of your shoot but really, it’s all about being you. If you normally wear a bold lip color, then go for it. I will be doing some close-ups so makeup that is natural tends to look best. We just want to see the real you.

    • Session info: Your session will be about two hours long or maybe even longer if we are having fun. I don’t really put a time limit on the session because I want for it to flow and not be worried about time.

    • Session fee: Your session fee of $300 is due at the time of the photoshoot. It will include an online gallery of your session with images that I have already edited. You just choose your favorites. Your session fee includes 30 digital images. If you would like more than 30, each additional image is just $15. You will get a print release so you can have your photos printed and displayed. I usually process photos in a week or two. I will have them in time for your announcements.

    • Studio Dress Session: I also offer a dreamy dress session in your HOCO or prom dress for an additional $50.

    • Cap and Gown Mini Session: In addition, I also offer a once a year cap and gown mini-session for $25. You will get 15 minutes in your cap and gown and up to 5 digital images with your name and year displayed.

    • Prints: If you would like to order prints to display in your home, I can provide prints for you from a great source. Prints can be ordered directly from my proofing site or you can order on your own.

    •  Retouching: I can remove blemishes and I do provide some of that as part of my editing process. If you need extra attention, there may be an upcharge.

    • Model Release: After our session, I will have favorites! With your permission, I would love to use some of your photos for marketing purposes on my website, my Facebook page, Instagram and Pinterest board.

We will work together to find out who you are and what you are all about. I don't want to just take your photograph, I want to tell your story.
